Villa Can Duri in C’an Picafort, Mallorca, Spain
A spacious and welcoming family villa close to C’an Picafort. Villa Can Duri is a great house for a relaxing holiday with long sunny days around a wonderful pool. It’s just a few minutes’ drive from the family-friendly resort of C’an Picafort – relaxed but with lots going on, and all based around a lovely sandy bay.
Inside, the house is cool and bright with white walls, terracotta-tiled floors and simple wooden furniture. On the ground floor there’s a long living and dining space – with sets of French doors out onto the pool-terrace.
There’s a long dining table and chairs, comfortable sofas around an open fireplace, satellite TV and a DVD/CD stereo. The kitchen is a well-planned room with lots of storage space, and appliances including a dishwasher, an oven and hob, a fridge-freezer and a microwave. Laundry can be done in a separate utility area.
There are five bedrooms at the house. Four are on the ground floor – a double room and three great twins. Also on the ground floor there are two family bathrooms – one with a bath and a shower and one shower-room. On the first floor there’s a double room and a private bathroom with a shower.
The pool and garden at the house are a really great place for spending the whole day. There’s an unusually long swimming pool surrounded by a sun-terrace. There’s a deep stretch of lawn all around the garden too, edged by fruit trees – and with lovely views of more trees beyond. There’s a shady covered terrace between the house and the pool too, with a barbecue.
C’an Picafort is also close to other great places in this part of the island: the busier resort-town of Alcudia is a 10-minute drive and it’s 25-minutes by car from historic Pollença Old Town and Puerto Pollença bay.
Villa Can Duri is a great family house with a fantastic pool. It’s just 10 minutes by car from C’an Picafort’s long beach and bay, which has clear and sheltered waters. There are also lots of cafés, restaurants and shops in the resort.
