The Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition 2018 honors the past victories of Le Mans

A limited edition Ford GT model was inspired by the GT40 Mk.IV racing model with which A.J. Foyt and Dan Gurney won Le Mans in 1967.

Besides the fact that the current ultra-sporty Ford GT is one of the most exclusive cars, as the company will make only 1,000 copies over the next four years, its exclusivity further enhances the special limited edition that Ford Performance is preparing for each of the four planned years.

Behind the name GT 67′ Heritage Edition hides the reminder of Ford’s second (of four) 1967 Le Mans victories, and a suitably painted car will be offered in a small number of specimens within the planned 250 copies to be produced and delivered next year.

In addition to the distinctive red color and white body applications, the special edition exterior features unpainted carbon elements and special one-piece 20-inch alloy wheels (rims). The red color found its place in the interior, dominated by leather and carbon.

Happy future owners will also like a suitable tile with the inscription of the edition, the amount of which is not yet known.
