Anya 100 Patch Pump Roller: Yves Saint Laurent’s Stilettos on wheels
YSL is on wheels these days, and we say it literally. Anthony Vaccarello took center stage in Saint Laurent and gave us the “sexy” thing he had promised us.
Last season he presented stilettos with ‘YSL’ as a heel, and now he returns with these stylish Stiletto rollerskates (Stiletto on roller skates). The new “heels on wheels” of Saint Laurent promise to knock you down unless you’re a solid skater.
They are called “Anya 100 Patch Pump Roller” and each one is a metallic leather beauty stamped with sensual illustrations. There is one wheel on the tip of the stiletto and another on the outer sole.
The beautiful stilettos combine bright stripes of pink, gold and blue against a black canvas, with other sensual design elements on display. The smart (and dangerous) part of the deal are the wheels that are attached just below the length of the heel and the soles in white.
Although walking with these in a party is equivalent to the invitation to break your hip, no one can take away their intelligent design.
The new inventions of Saint Laurent are only available in their stores. Each pair will cost you approximately $2,600 (2,199 euros). For souls not so daring, another version in the form of sports shoes can be purchased for $1,995 (1,689 euros).
