Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas has announced the appointment of Pepper, the humanoid robot, as the hotel’s technology ambassador.
The newest member of the team will be at the Sky Lobby, located on the 23rd floor, greeting guests and complementing the hotel’s services with fun entertainment.
More than just a lobby accessory, Pepper is fully integrated into the hotel’s team and acts as just another companion.
Curious and helpful, with big expressive eyes and realistic movements and gestures, Pepper is 1 meter and 20 cm and can discern the sex, approximate age and mood of a guest. By interacting naturally and intuitively, Pepper provides personalized communication by detecting facial, body and voice signals.
Able to answer specific questions about the hotel, give directions, tell stories, dance, and even pose for a selfie, Pepper brings a new vision of exceptional and friendly service to the hotel’s triple five-star category.
In a city dominated by the latest and greatest, Pepper is the newest attraction in the Entertainment Capital of the World.
