A wonderful villa at the edge of the sea, looking across to pine-covered headlands and Cala D’Or beach. Villa Es Forti is in one of the most beautiful spots in the whole area – next to the castle and viewing point of Es Forti, and overlooking a beautiful stretch of water which is often busy with yachts on their way to the Cala D’Or marina.
It’s a spacious whitewashed villa with wonderfully bright natural light and cool breezes off the water. Inside, the rooms have white walls and pale tiled floors with huge picture windows bringing in views of the sea. On the ground floor there’s a long lounge and dining space with several sets of double doors out onto the sea-facing terrace. There are comfortable sofas, a wood-burning stove, satellite tv and a dvd/cd stereo, and a dining table and chairs on the raised dining area. The kitchen is well planned with Bosch appliances including a dishwasher and a microwave. French doors lead out to a covered terrace again overlooking the sea, with a barbecue and built-in seats.
Also on the ground floor there’s a twin bedroom suite with a dressing area, double doors onto the sea-terrace, and an en-suite bathroom. There’s also a long hall and a wc-bathroom on this floor. On the first floor three lovely twin bedrooms open out onto another deep terrace looking over the sea. One of these rooms has an en-suite bathroom and there’s also a family bathroom on this floor.
The garden edges the rocky shoreline and really makes the most of its beautiful outlook. There’s a swimming pool with a sun-terrace, a lawn – and its child-friendly too with a wall and a safety gate closing it off from the shore. This property also has a gated driveway.
Villa Es Forti is a great villa full of space in a wonderful part of Cala D’Or. It’s just a couple of minutes’ walk from the castle, shops and cafés of Es Forti, and all the beaches, stylish shops and international restaurants of Cala D’Or and the marina area is a 10 minute’ walk away.
