Extravagant New Suites at Le Meurice Hotel, Paris

The Parisian hotel Le Meurice has unveiled three newly redesigned presidential suites, including the Dalí apartment, where the artist Salvador Dalí resided for at least one month each year from the 1960s through the 1980s. Designed by Charles Jouffre, the suites portray the hotel’s rich heritage with Versailles parquet floors, silk rugs, white marble fireplaces, 18th-century furniture, crystal chandeliers, and 19th-century paintings, along with unobstructed views of the historic Tuileries Gardens. For admirers of Dalí, Jouffre preserved most of the space with minimal updates. Rates of presidential suites are upon request, but a classic room starts at approximately $880.
