Outstanding Jaguar C-X75 Hypercar Prototype

We finally received some new info about Jaguar’s C-X75 prototype, a plug-in hybrid beast that was initially meant to go into limited production. However, the hypercar’s production prospects are a little bit unclear at this point.

What we do know is that this beast will be powered by a 1.6 liter turbocharged engine that can develop 500 horsepower, aided by two electric motors with a combined output of 390 horsepower. This translates to a total of 890 horsepower, which is enough to propel the C-X75 from 0 to 62mph in under 6 seconds. Furthermore, the top speed will be somewhere around 220 mph, while the electric powertrain will have a standalone range of 40 miles.
